Lead Product Development

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide guidance and support for the effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and share knowledge with the team members to support their overall development.
- Promote the organization's values and ethics in all activities within the team to support the establishment of a value-driven culture within the organization.
- Lead the effective implementation of product development policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity.
- Responsible for management of product lifecycle and the issues that impact delivery of capability or service.
- Discovery and Innovation: Derive market insights and formulate product strategy.
- New Product Planning: Concept, feasibility, and definition.
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return-on-investment analyses.
- Ensures the development and execution of product roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons that outline strategic goals.
- Assesses the investment needs (capital and expense) through understanding trends, client's needs, and roadmap review and makes recommendations to the Product Executive and Business Stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate the impact of new regulations into product strategy and business strategy.
- Manage the product and services portfolio in line with the strategy for the Exchange.
- Liaison with business operations, customer services, and Digital Technology and Innovation teams to obtain inputs on customer requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration / Finance or equivalent discipline.
Overall Experience:
- Minimum 8-9 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the financial/stock exchange industry.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with product development preferably in stock exchange.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
