Job summary
A healthcare group in the UAE is looking for a dedicated nurse to provide surgical and postnatal care to women and their babies. You will perform assessments, initiate intravenous therapy, and coordinate care with other health professionals. Qualifications include a license to practice nursing in the UAE and a current basic life support certification. This full-time role emphasizes the importance of high-quality patient care and support during critical time periods such as post-operative and neonatal care.
Qualifications
- Appropriate nursing license for DoH or DHA mandated qualifications.
- Manage professional revalidation regularly.
- Basic life support certification must be current.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical and postnatal care to women and newborns.
- Conduct patient assessments including neonates, pediatric, and adult patients.
- Initiate intravenous therapy as ordered by doctors.
- Oversee patient care and education including breastfeeding support.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
