Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced nurse to provide and coordinate patient-centric nursing care. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care, managing risks to enhance patient safety, and mentoring nursing staff. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Preference will be given to applicants who align with the UAE Emiratization Program. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary.
  • At least two years of nursing experience in home country is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • Ensure patient safety by managing risks according to clinical policies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach learners and nursing employees.

Skills

Basic Arabic language skills
Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
Verbal and written communication skills in English

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
  • Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

valid BLS and ACLS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years in own country

Desired: 3 years recent/current experience in a hospital setting

Desired:UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
