Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant banking experience and the ability to identify fraud. - 5+ years of direct experience in Loan Approval, Credit Underwriting, or Risk Management within a reputable commercial bank.
- Demonstrated ability to manually verify financial documents and credit bureau reports.
- Experience in retail lending, mortgage credit, or installment-based products preferred.
- Ability to make decisive credit rejections despite pressures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on reviews of individual credit profiles, bank statements, and pay slips.
- Perform rigorous checks on supporting documents to ensure authenticity.
- Approve, flag, or reject applications based on risk criteria.
- Anticipate potential defaults and design mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Collections to analyze default trends.
