The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for Enterprise Service Managers (ESM) based in the UAE that can manage the working relationship with global Energy organizations, develop a long-term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy within those accounts. AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

• The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management in those accounts.
• Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.
• Long-term development of Global Organizations
• Engagement with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio
• Development of long-term Cloud Strategy
• Identification & development of specific opportunities and business value propositions
• Deal shaping including estimations and deal pricing
• Contract negotiations & closing
• Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects including budget & deliverable responsibilities
• Mitigation of delivery risks & issues
• Overseeing delivery of projects and ensuring high quality delivery
• Acting as single point of contact for Customer executives developing deep trusted relations
• Envisioning for and inspiring customers and educating them on AWS services
• Coaching customer and partner teams to be self-sufficient

This is a customer facing role working with global clients. You will be required to travel to client locations when needed. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Dubai ARE.

• Extensive experience of IT consulting/management with demonstrated IT Digital Transformation experience in customer-facing roles.
• Business consulting experience transforming customer operations through technology including cloud adoption, IoT, ML/AI and automation.
• Experience with account growth, sales quotas, project and program deliveries etc.
• Large company account executive experience, ideally in Oil & Gas and/or Utilities, in IT and business consulting including relationship management, growth targets, customer satisfaction, project portfolio management and contract negotiations.
• A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT programs

• Experience with contract and statement of work development.
• Digital Transformation consulting background including managing sales solution development legal negotiation.
• Background in enterprise IT management frameworks (eg COBIT ITIL cyber).
• Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, cloud ML/AI, traditional and renewables, power generation, transmission, utility, retail, E&P refining/chemical/wells, process control and SCADA.
• Experience with enterprise application and infrastructures including design, build and operate global solutions.
