About the job Contracts Engineer (ADNOC Project Experienced)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Engineer to support the successful execution of EPC projects for ADNOC. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in contract administration, commercial management, and a proven track record of working on ADNOC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts in accordance with ADNOC guidelines and project requirements.
  • Administer the full contract lifecycle: pre-award, post-award, change orders, claims, and close-out.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC contractual procedures and UAE regulations.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier contracts for risk, accuracy, and alignment with project goals.
  • Support tendering processes including preparation of RFQs, bid evaluations, and commercial clarifications.
  • Coordinate with project, legal, procurement, and finance teams to align contract execution with organizational goals.
  • Handle claims, dispute resolution, and variations in coordination with legal teams and ADNOC representatives.
  • Maintain and update contract records, logs, and correspondence in accordance with internal and ADNOC audit requirements.
  • Monitor and report contract performance, milestones, and risks to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management within the Oil & Gas EPC sector, with direct experience on ADNOC projects.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of ADNOC contract procedures, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
