Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Fiber Engineer to join its network infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing fiber optic networks while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills in GIS and AutoCAD are essential for this office and field-based role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years experience in fiber network design, deployment, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSP and ISP infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop fiber optic network infrastructure (FTTx FTTH Backbone).
  • Oversee installation crews ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve fiber network issues.
