Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
- Install framing, flooring, doors, windows, cabinets, and trim.
- Build frameworks such as walls, stairways, and partitions.
- Inspect and replace damaged structures or fixtures.
- Follow building codes and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
