About the job Resident Engineer (Drainage & Stormwater Networks)

• Resident Engineer must have 20 years of experience in Drainage and Storm water Networks.
• Must have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized University and at least 15 years of infrastructure work experience. Able to take spot decisions and interact with Service Authorities. Knowledge and experience in pipelines, cables, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers and pumping works, non-disruptive road crossings. Design knowledge of infrastructure works.
• Full knowledge of existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai.
• Familiar with DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying, Project Network Techniques (Primavera).
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera.
• Confident in ability to control works.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, supervisory skills.
• Experience preparing instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Capacity to make decisions.
• Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities.
