A leading HR consultancy in the UAE is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to implement and manage security controls throughout the DevOps pipeline, focusing on AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in security operations, particularly in the banking sector. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with relevant security certifications. This role offers a salary range of AED 20,000 to AED 25,000, along with all mandatory benefits as per UAE law.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus.

- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure utilising best practices for security scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security testing tools and processes seamlessly.
- Design and implement security automation for continuous monitoring alerting and response in cloud.
- Coordinate remediation efforts and track progress to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
- Implement security controls and monitoring solutions to protect cloud environments from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure components identifying and remedying any security gaps or compliance issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enforce security best practices.
- Work closely with operations teams to optimize cloud resource utilization and performance minimising costs and improving efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g. PCI DSS GDPR) and regulatory requirements specific to the banking sector.
- Provide guidance and training to development and operations teams on secure coding practices threat detection and incident response.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python Shell scripting) for automation and integration purposes.
- Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g. SIEM IDS/IPS DLP) and vulnerability management tools.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- 58 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong focus on security operations within banking or financial services.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH AWS Certified Security Specialty AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
