Job description

• Evaluate price and modify plan design for renewals and new business and large corporate quotations in compliance with underwriting authorities
• Conceptualize and implement pricing strategies for the SME portfolio
• Develop an understanding of competitive and regulatory landscape in all of Cigna's major countries within Middle East and Africa
• Build effective relationship with sales and client management partners to win and retain business
• Collaborate with underwriters to deliver on the turnaround time expectations of the commercial team
• Act as the underwriting point of contact for all Africa related projects
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and pricing and collaborate with rest of the team to implement solutions
• Manage portfolio of accounts by balancing profitability and revenue
• Provide concise clear and decisive instructions on risk exposure
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify and understand trends patterns and insights that are used to successfully manage portfolio
• Support rest of the underwriters on the team to balance the workload
