We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end operations of GluCare’s in‑house pharmacy.

This role is operational and strategic — focusing on procurement, logistics, inventory optimization, supplier management, and team performance.

While a pharmacy background or DHA license is not mandatory, candidates with prior healthcare or pharmaceutical operations experience will be preferred.

The successful candidate will ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, complies with all regulations, and supports GluCare’s clinical and patient‑care objectives.

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Supervise and support the pharmacy team (pharmacists, assistants, delivery personnel) to ensure service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with DHA and internal operational standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs to streamline workflows, inventory control, and quality assurance.

• Manage procurement of all pharmaceutical and medical items — from sourcing to supplier negotiation to delivery.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain relationships with distributors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliability.
• Oversee the logistics of medication delivery and inter‑branch supply between GluCare facilities.

• Track pharmacy financial performance including sales, margins, and procurement costs.
• Prepare periodic reports on inventory, purchasing trends, and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with the Finance department for reconciliations, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal auditing and reporting requirements.

• Support the DHA‑licensed Pharmacist‑in‑Charge with compliance, audits, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure the pharmacy adheres to proper storage, handling, and dispensing protocols.

• Supervise, coach, and motivate the pharmacy operations team.
• Coordinate work schedules and manage performance appraisals.
• Ensure continuous training and professional development of pharmacy staff.

• Work closely with the clinical and operations teams to align pharmacy processes with patient‑care delivery.
• Serve as the operational liaison between the pharmacy, management, and other departments.
• Ensure prompt resolution of operational or supply‑related issues impacting clinical services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Extensive experience in operations, procurement, or healthcare facility management.
• Previous experience in pharmacy or medical supply chain management is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, and inventory systems (e.g., ERP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and deliver results in a fast‑paced, regulated healthcare environment.
