Job description

Overview

Provide advanced tactical support for order fulfillment and mill related issues that require near-term coordination and resolution in support of our customers and managing cost to serve.

Establish and own the processes and metrics for the key logistics activities that drive efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Identify and lead the implementation of specific logistics-related opportunities and initiatives that generate cost savings and/or differentiable customer solutions as part of supply chain design activities as instructed by the Supply Chain Solutions Manager.

Lead and coordinate operational activities that provide advance planning to avoid inefficiencies and to maintain cross-organizational alignment, as well as engage in issue resolution to address unforeseen global developments that impact the logistics portion of our supply chain.

Understand and implement existing enterprise operating model capabilities and best practices relating to logistics for the Global Cellulose Fibers business and quantify new business requirements for prioritization and implementation by the COE that generate value for IP and our customers.
