Job Description
We are working with some of the region's leading international banks, corporates, and sovereign wealth funds.
Typical assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai are 6 months in length. Consultants would need to be able to commit to on-site client assignments in Abu Dhabi, so will ideally reside in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

We are currently looking for corporate lawyers with 4-10 years of top-tier post-qualification experience, particularly in areas such as public and private M&A, private equity, and commercial law.

Successful applicants will:

1. Have a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a firm ranked as top tier for corporate law.
2. Ideally have recent in-house legal experience at a leading financial services institution or corporate (directly or as a secondee).
3. Have a desire to take ownership of their career and be responsible for their own professional development and network, proactively making use of any support and resources available.
4. Have researched the personal and financial factors that you need to consider when commencing a career as a legal consultant and be comfortable with the ways in which it differs from permanent employment.
5. Be committed to building a positive and productive relationship with Peerpoint, including having a transparent, open, and responsive style of communication.
6. Have a consultant mindset, including a highly professional, flexible, and adaptable outlook and approach.
7. Have an ability to make effective transitions into new environments and be motivated to deliver an excellent standard of service to each client.
8. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to professionally deal with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally.
9. Be resilient, autonomous, and highly credible, with exemplary commercial/business acumen and client service ethic.

1. In-house with one of our clients - this could mean working with a client either virtually or locally to support a project, regulatory reform, or transactional work during periods of absence. Assignments can range from three to twelve months in duration and will vary in hours.
2. In the A&O Abu Dhabi practice to support a specific client or the practice generally during peak volumes. We have consultants that step into the team on an ad hoc basis and those who work regularly to support the Practice.
