Job summary
A leading global e-commerce company is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst in Dubai. This role involves analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data analytics and proficiency in Excel VBA, SQL, and ETL processes. You'll work collaboratively with various teams to generate actionable insights, ensuring all solutions are based on data. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and have experience with business intelligence tools.

We are seeking a results‑driven and detail‑obsessed Business Analyst to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting strategic initiatives and operational improvements by finding & analysing data, identifying trends, and translating business needs into actionable insights.
- Write queries, compile data, and generate reports utilizing technologies such as RedShift, RDS (MySQL, MSSQL), Spectrum, and ETL.
- Tell a story based on the data, propose insights, and see actions through to completion.
- Work across various teams with fellow Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers to prioritise the right work and deliver on it.
- 2 years of data analytics or automation experience.
- 1 year of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience gathering business requirements using industry‑standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- Experience with SQL or ETL.
- Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation.
- Experience working with large complex data sets.
