The selected candidate will have experience managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects within the UAE and GCC, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the Middle East. They will work with the project delivery team to establish project objectives, develop the project execution plan and oversee project scheduling, ensuring the project team stays on track, meets objectives and milestones, and adheres to project management standards. The candidate should have experience in the Leisure & Entertainment sector related to one of the following areas: Show and Theme Parks, Retail & Mall delivery, Stadia and arena venues. They will manage the relationship with the Client’s technical team, Client expectations, and ensure the project meets or exceeds Client requirements.

Responsibilities include managing and assigning tasks to the design team, ensuring access to tools, resources and technical support, and actively overseeing the quality of the work. Maintain project documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the company’s project management methodology.

Key responsibilities and areas include:

• Project Delivery: act as a key point of contact for design teams and coordinate to align design components with the project’s vision and quality objectives.
• Accountability for the design coordination process, adherence to quality management, and coordination of daily design activities to meet timelines and resolve conflicts.
• Compilation of technical input into change management requirements with coordination with Technical Leads to assess impact on time and resources.
• Engagement with Client technical teams to achieve consensus on design philosophies and outcomes.
• Develop strategies for project design packaging aligned with construction phasing and schedule.
• Contribute experience and lessons learned from similar projects.
• Develop a multi-disciplinary programme with buy-in from technical leads aligned to project requirements.
• Technical set-up of project models (sheet numbering, deliverables) and active progress tracking to ensure deadlines and high design standards.
• Work within budgets defined and accepted by design Technical Leads.
• Share and promote the technical achievements of the technical team.
• Maintain consistent input from leaders of technical package groups.
• Report to the Project Director on solving complex design integration challenges, ensuring design elements work together functionally and aesthetically.

Financial Management

• Confirm that contractual deliverables have been met prior to invoicing.
• Compile potential changes or scope gaps with impact on time and effort.

Client Management

• Technical engagement with the Client.
• Provide advice and appropriate technical resources to address Client queries.
