Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Sharjah is looking for a qualified nurse. The role involves attending to hospital phone calls, managing patient billing, and maintaining medical records. Candidates are expected to have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). The position demands good physical fitness, a sound mind, and adherence to hospital policies while maintaining safe working conditions and promoting patient safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Attending hospital phone calls.
- Ensure all patients are charged for supplies and procedures in the hospital information system for final billing.
- Ensures entry of stock for consumable and non-consumable supplies available in the clinic.
- Coordinate the telephone enquiries and inform the concerned person.
- Arrange follow-up appointment for patients and coordinate.
- Promotes professional communication and maintain confidentiality.
- Medical records maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness in examination rooms and equipment.
- Follow up on insurance approvals.
- Assist Registered Nurse in maintaining stock and equipment list.

- Ensures entry of stock for consumable and non-consumable supplies available in the clinic, clean and maintains the stock level accurately.
- Coordinate the telephone enquiries and inform the concerned person.
- Arrange follow-up appointment for patients and coordinate.
- Promotes and displays professional verbal and non-verbal communication and maintain all aspects of confidentiality.
- Medical records maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in examination rooms equipment.
- Follow up on insurance approvals.
- Assist Registered Nurse in maintaining stock and equipment list.

- Perform duties according to the hospital policies.
- Perform duties within the scope of practice.
- Maintain infection control principles in everyday practice.
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Follows International Patient Safety goals.
- Participation at unit meetings.
Professional development/ Education
- Adherence to dress code.
- Wear identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly.
- Attend Fire & Safety Training and Infection Control training.
- Learn/maintain a working knowledge of the Arabic and English language
