The Role

• Review and approve business transactions, including purchase requests, purchase orders, and payments, in accordance with delegated authority limits and company policies.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Support the UAE General Manager and other department heads with financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.

• Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly management reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and cash flow projections.

• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Review financial transactions and records, identifying and addressing discrepancies or anomalies promptly.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in the UAE Automotive Industry is a must.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Focus on financial controls (GAAP and IFRS) and business partnering.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (SAP).
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
