Role: Backend Developer PLSQL

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PL SQL developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, optimizing, and leading a team in the creation of complex PL SQL procedures and functions.

The candidate should also possess knowledge of .Net Core API development and source control versioning to provide added advantage in contributing to our technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, aiding them in problem-solving and skill enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, software engineers, and QA teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Perform thorough code reviews to guarantee code quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with coding standards.
• Analyse query execution plans, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement database tuning techniques to enhance overall system performance.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the database development life cycle.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in PL/SQL and database technologies and share insights with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 6+ years of proven experience in PL SQL development, with a focus on creating complex procedures and functions.
• Strong expertise in database design principles, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in .Net Core API development is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with source control versioning systems (e.g., Git) and their integration into the development workflow.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with effective communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional, are desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
