Job summary
A finance consulting firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounting and reporting. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economy, and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. Key responsibilities include managing accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Responsibilities
- Prepare and control reports such as VAT Return, Income Tax Return, and Corporate Tax Return.
- Carry out accounting records for invoices, directions, and bank transactions.
- Manage month-end transactions and ensure timely closure of accounts.

- Responsibilities / Authorities
3.1. Primary Functions
- Carries out accounting records for invoices, directions, bank transactions, revenues, payments, e.t.c.
- Prepares and controls reports such as VAT Return, Income Tax Return, Stamp Duty and prepares prepaid tax and Corporate Tax Return.
- Carries out payment, reimbursements and advances with the given authority from CCE
- Checks all costs under his/her authorization and get approval of them.
- Checks prepaid advances, follows up supplier invoices and receive them on time and closes the related accounts on time.
- Carries out month-end transactions.
- Carries out other requests on demand coming from top management.
3.2. HSE Requirements
- Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV Group HSE Policies and procedures, client’s HSE procedures and practices.
- Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/supervisor
- Report immediately any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
- Report immediately any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation.
