Job summary
A logistics company in Sharjah is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and over 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE. Responsibilities include assisting with reconciliations and managing important documents. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in an established organization.
Qualifications
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar industry, ideally within the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Accounts team for smooth operations.
- Assist in reconciling party accounts and the General Ledger.
- Record entries in the accounts software following guidance.

GAC Sharjah is looking for candidates for the role of Junior Accountant, to be based in Sharjah. Could it be you?
- Provide support to the Accounts team to ensure smooth operations of the Accounts Department.
- Assist the Accountant in completing reconciliations of party accounts and General Ledger.
- Record necessary entries in the accounts software (Dolphin) following guidance from the Accounts team.
- Manage important documents and support the team in updating party records.
- Follow best accounting practices as per GAC Financial policies and procedures.
Qualification: Graduate, University degree.
Computer Knowledge: Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar industry, ideally within the UAE.
