Dubai IT Project Lead - Global Platform Rollouts (12 mo)
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale IT platform roll-outs with a focus on aligning with strategic goals and timelines. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in project management, particularly with multimillion-dollar projects, and a strong preference for those familiar with car/cab booking systems. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus. This is a 12-month contract role based in Dubai.
Qualifications
- 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or PMO.
- Strong IT platform roll-out experience with projects costing over 5M USD.
- Experience with car/cab booking systems is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale IT platform roll-outs.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including remote software development teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with business units and technical teams for seamless integration.
- Monitor project budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
