Job summary
A leading service provider in UAE is seeking a technician responsible for maintaining complex electrical installations. The ideal candidate must possess a Secondary School Certificate and relevant experience in the Electrical Engineering industry. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS systems, troubleshooting hardware failures, and ensuring system functionality. This role requires effective communication skills in English and the ability to work 24/7 as needed.
Qualifications
- 1 year ITI and 5-7 years relevant experience.
- 2 years ITI and 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Experience in the Electrical Engineering industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complex Electrical installations to achieve targets with minimum downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS systems.
- Troubleshoot system failures on all BMS hardware/software.
Skills
Education
Secondary School Certificate 10th Standard is a must and Higher Secondary School Certificate 12th Standard is desirable.
1 year/2 years ITI is a must or 3 years Diploma.
6 months Vocational Education 7 10 years relevant experience.
1 year ITI 5 7 years relevant experience.
2 years ITI 3 5 years relevant experience.
Preferably possessing experience in the Electrical Engineering industry as a service technician handling lager capacity electrical installations and maintenance.
Result orientation problem solving and people management skills.
Interpersonal Skills Planning & Organizing skills and Planning & Organizing skills.
Competent communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
Responsible to maintain complex Electrical installations achieving the required/assigned targets of the work within the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting complete satisfaction of Clients & end users.
Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance works of BMS system Include
- DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers and panels
- Troubleshooting testing and commissioning BMS & HVAC systems and all connected equipment for BM connectivity
- Gateway IDF & MDF
Troubleshoot system failures on all BMS Hardware/ Software systems/accessories with minimum downtime
Carry out calibration test between BMS system and connected equipment to the BMS system.
Testing and ensure the functionality of the sensors connected to BMS and validate the data
Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster
AttendanceCarry out CBMS work within the boundaries ofof the UAE
Assist in condition surveys / snagging works of BMS systems when required.
Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time
Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations
