Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sr. Technical Engineer to coordinate technical queries between suppliers, customers, and the sales team. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector in the UAE. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring delivery schedules are met. Strong communication skills and a valid UAE driving license are essential. This is a full-time role with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors in UAE.
• Valid UAE driving license and preferably own car.
• QA / HSE compliance skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales team for all technical queries.
• Liaise between suppliers and customers to resolve queries.
• Negotiate technical aspects with suppliers.
• Coordinate quality inspections and manage delivery schedules.
• Maintain ISO documentation records.

Job description

Sr. Technical Engineer will work and coordinate with the sales team for all technical queries between suppliers customers sales and estimation team for bulk trading section.

• Involved with clients / customers to review their technical documents drawings specification and project schedules and delivery milestones. Coordinate with suppliers / vendors locally and globally and resolve all technical queries.
• Liaison between suppliers and customers and submit vendors documents and technical submittals.
• Negotiate with suppliers on technical aspects of the product and coordinate with estimation team.
• Coordinate quality inspection and raise RFI coordinate FAT or factory / warehouse visits as required by customers.
• Expedite with suppliers and vendors for on time delivery and visit locally the factories as required.
• Coordinate with logistics to arrange the material delivery to customers as per agreed plans.
• Maintaining ISO documentation record of suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics or InstrumentationEngineering.
• Affinity and familiar with Engineering procurement aspect in the E&I Telecom bulk trading.

Additional Information:

Experience Requirements:

• Experience level: 05 years in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors in UAE.
• Should have valid UAE driving license and preferably own car.
• QA / HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Professional Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical sales in the E&I Telecom Engineering Solutions related to O&G sector. (Field Instrumentation Flare Meter UFM Flowmeters Valves Fittings Telecom)
• Strong market understanding and solid connection with EPC and developers in the O&G and Power Generation sectors in the UAE.
