Maintenance Electrical Engineer
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair all electrical equipment and systems throughout the hospital, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and prevent failures.
Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems as needed.
Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Work collaboratively with other engineering and maintenance staff.
Adhere to all hospital safety policies and procedures.
Participate in on-call rota as required.
Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and medical equipment.
Comprehensive understanding and practical application of Joint Commission International (JCIA) standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
