What do we expect from you

Mondrian Abu Dhabi is set to redefine luxury and we are seeking an exceptional and forwardthinking Director of Sales to join us during the preopening this key role you will spearhead the development of the hotels sales strategy collaborating closely with the leadership team to establish Mondrian Abu Dhabi as the premier destination. Your expertise in crafting innovative sales strategies cultivating strategic relationships and driving revenue will be instrumental in ensuring the hotels success and establishing it as a standout luxury destination.

How your day looks like:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all departments including rooms F&B wellness and events.
  • Oversee the sales budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing and PR teams to ensure integrated strategies and seamless across all touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships including travel agents corporate clients and event planners to drive direct sales and business development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of sales activities and KPIs reporting results to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead the creation of tailored sales presentations and collateral to communicate the unique value proposition of Mondrian Abu Dhabi.
  • Develop promotional packages and offers that align with market demand and help drive peak performance during highdemand periods.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & PR to generate awareness through salesdriven marketing campaigns press releases and events.
  • Establish sales targets incentives and programs to motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Oversee the development and of strategic partnerships with local businesses tourism agencies and international partners.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales management with at least 3 years in a Directorlevel role ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Experience working in a truly global work environment is essential.
  • Prior preopening experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong track record in driving revenue growth across multiple departments with experience in both leisure and corporate sales.
  • Exceptional communication relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that increase revenue.
  • Expertise in luxury hospitality sales and understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing sales budgets and performance.
  • Knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS) booking engines and sales CRM tools.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
