Kahara is a new wellness beverage brand redefining how people start their day. We’re building a chic, design-led, health-first alternative to coffee — rooted in ancient rituals, gut health, and a calmer caffeine-free lifestyle.

We’re in an early-stage launch phase across South Africa, the UAE, and Europe, and we’re looking for a creative, ambitious Social Media Intern to help shape Kahara’s digital identity from the ground up.

This internship is perfect for someone who wants hands‑on, real brand‑building experience and the freedom to experiment, propose ideas, and take creative ownership.

You will work directly with the founder on:

• Create, curate, and schedule content for Instagram (Reels, stories, feed posts)
• Help build the visual worlds of Kahara — moodboards, concepts, colour palettes
• Assist with brand storytelling, caption writing, and ideation
• Research content trends within wellness, minimal luxury, chic beverage brands, and lifestyle spaces
• Source imagery, shoot simple product content, and help maintain a consistent aesthetic
• Participate in creative brainstorming for campaigns, launch content, and community-building
• Help prepare launch content for the UAE and South Africa markets
• Gain exposure to branding, packaging, marketing strategy, and consumer behaviour within the wellness/luxury space

You do not need to be a marketing expert — just someone who’s creative, passionate, and eager to learn.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong interest in wellness, aesthetics, branding, and social media culture
• Has a good eye for design and visual storytelling
• Is comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
• Loves spending time on Instagram & Pinterest for inspiration
• Enjoys creating content (photo/video) or experimenting with trends
• Is proactive, reliable, and excited to share their ideas
• Bonus: experience with TikTok, simple photography, or graphic design
• Bonus: interest in cafes, coffee culture, nutrition, or clean living
