Job summary
A prominent safety services provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive Safety Officer / HSE Engineer. This role focuses on implementing and monitoring Health, Safety & Environment systems in power plants and industrial operations. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in the UAE, strong understanding of local regulations, and excellent skills in training delivery and incident investigation. A NEBOSH General Certificate is preferred, and candidates should hold a valid UAE driving license.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the UAE.
- Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or construction projects.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and standards.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Deliver HSE inductions and training for employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor and enforce safety controls across multiple sites.
