Job summary
A digital asset investment manager is seeking a Head of Quantitative Research to define research strategy and build high-performing teams. This senior leadership role involves strategic and hands-on responsibilities, including developing advanced research methodologies and leading the adoption of innovative tooling. The ideal candidate will have an advanced quantitative degree, 8+ years of research experience, and strong proficiency in Python. This role is based in the United Arab Emirates.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in quantitative research with leadership exposure.
- Experience with large-scale data, cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in additional low-latency programming languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the firm’s quantitative research roadmap.
- Lead strategy development using statistical, ML, and AI techniques.
- Build and manage high-performing research teams.
- Partner closely with trading, risk, and engineering.
- Drive adoption of compute and research tooling.

We are retained to hire a Head of Quantitative Research for a cutting‑edge digital asset investment manager operating at the intersection of quantitative finance, AI, and automated trading.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining research strategy, building and mentoring quant teams, and delivering a consistent pipeline of deployable alpha. The role is both strategic and hands‑on, with deep involvement in research, validation, and production workflows.
