Job summary

A leading contract management firm is seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Draughtsman to join their Dubai team for high-profile villa projects. Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and must be proficient in CAD detailing and design. The position requires strong abilities in HVAC and plumbing design, along with a relevant educational background. This is a contract role for 6 months, with the possibility of transferring to staff status thereafter.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years overall experience with 2+ years in the UAE.
  • Experience in high-profile villa and residential projects.
  • Preference for candidates from recognized Main Contracting Companies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting shop drawings.
  • Develop 2D and 3D mechanical drawings.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback.
  • Coordinate drawings with other disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements.

Skills

Mechanical CAD Draughting
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency in Revit MEP
Coordination with MEP disciplines

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
