Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Specialist-Highway to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will get to perform various drafting assignments for Highway design packages and support with Highway design-related activities.

• Regular interface with other departments and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Communicate effectively with management, engineering, and production staff on modeling technical and non-technical subjects.
• Interface regularly with other departments on matters relating to work assignments.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise junior modeling staff.
• Act in an advisory capacity to senior management and production staff on related work matters.
• Contribute to the development of training material.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Common Data Environment usage and management for model production.
• Work closely with Roads Digital Design & Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion.
• Work closely with Roads Digital Design & Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion.
• Understand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion.
• Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process.
• Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report.
• Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Diploma in a Civil Engineering discipline, Bachelor’s degree will be an addition.
• Minimum 10 years related work experience for Diploma in Civil Engineering, or Minimum 8 years related work experience for Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
• Very good Knowledge and practice of Civil 3D and Dynamo tool.
• Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.
• Software experience required: AutoCAD is must; Common Data Environment: ProjectWise & BIM360 or ACC.
• Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
• Proficient knowledge of engineering principles and in-depth knowledge of advanced modeling principles and application, ability to apply these principles to modeling assignments.
• Proficient in utilizing most modeling principles, techniques, and analyses to complete a wide variety of difficult complex assignments/plans.

• Autodesk Civil 3D, Openroads, MicroStation, Navisworks are preferable.
• Capability to supervise the BIM Modelers and BIM Analysts in the team.
