As a Junior IT Support Technician, your role will involve installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing various computer devices, BRS scan guns, and BRS systems used within Emirates Group to sustain business performance.

In This Role, You Will

1. Prepare sites for the installation of computer devices and BRS equipment within set timeframes.
2. Perform infrastructure tasks necessary for desktop and telephone installations.
3. Configure and deploy new RF BRS scan guns and perform maintenance.
4. Maintain and service BRS equipment cyclically, including workshop bench testing to enhance uptime.
5. Support engineers and senior technicians in installing new equipment, repairing, and servicing faulty devices.
6. Provide second-level support for BRS PC scan servers and wired scan guns at the airport.
7. Support new technology RF BRS scan guns and ultra-systems.
8. Conduct basic checks on reported faulty equipment to facilitate quick replacements.
9. Report faults observed during periodic maintenance and replace equipment as necessary.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

1. At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in Data Cabling.

Additional Skills That Will Give You an Edge

1. Experience in desktop servicing, installation, and LAN/WAN network cabling.
2. Knowledge of tools such as cable testers, crimping tools, and multimeters.
3. Proficiency in PCs and office tools like MS Word and email support.
