We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to perform inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance on various aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will ensure all aircraft meet regulatory and safety standards and are maintained to the highest level of airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft engines, avionics, landing gear and structural components.
- Diagnose mechanical and technical issues using manuals, schematics and diagnostic equipment.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately in aircraft maintenance records and logs in compliance with aviation authority regulations.
- Follow all FAA/EASA or equivalent national aviation standards and company procedures.
- Replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools or precision instruments.
- Collaborate with pilots, engineers and other technicians to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
- Keep up to date with technical publications, bulletins and continuing education/training.
- Operate ground support equipment and test aircraft systems as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Degree or certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field (preferred).
Licenses/Certifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent national licensure (required).
- Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
Experience
- 2 years of hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance (commercial, private or military aircraft).
- Familiarity with major aircraft types (e.g. Boeing, Airbus, Cessna, Gulfstream) is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and schematics.
- Solid understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, computers and maintenance software.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g. AMOS, TRAX, CAMP).
- Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends and on‑call rotations.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
