The Formwork Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the formwork crew, ensuring the accurate construction and installation of formwork systems for various concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of different formwork methods and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Plan and execute the formwork, shuttering, scaffolding & de‑shuttering work as per the approved drawing and obtain approval from the third‑party consultant as per the specification; coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans with subcontractors.
- Prepare micro plans/schedules to achieve the targets.
- Plan & allocate general and daily responsibilities to subcontractors and subordinates.
- Monitor, supervise & ensure effective utilization of machinery, equipment, manpower and resources economically.
- Provide material/resources requirements in advance to ensure smooth progress.
- Ensure all formwork and shuttering works are completed within schedule and as per quality standards.
- Ensure proper stripping, cleaning, and storage of formwork materials after use.
- Coordinate with steel fixing, concreting, and other related teams to avoid delays.
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Monitor wastages and keep them within tolerance.
- Resolve problems when they arise or report to the engineer in charge.
- Report daily progress to engineer in charge.
- Hold technical knowledge of modern formwork systems.
- Manage manpower and material.
- Maintain quality and safety awareness.
- Demonstrate problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
- Diploma preferred, minimum 12th pass or Grade 12.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years UAE experience in buildings (Midrise & Highrise).
- Executed and completed 2 to 3 residential buildings (Midrise & Highrise) from start to hand‑over.
- Attested certificates if under‑gone any specialized formwork system training.
- Reports to Site Engineer or Construction Manager and coordinates with surveyors and site team (civil, MEP, suppliers & subcontractors).
