The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of UAE experience in midrise and highrise buildings, managing projects from start to handover. Job description

The Formwork Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the formwork crew, ensuring the accurate construction and installation of formwork systems for various concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of different formwork methods and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
  • Plan and execute Formwork, shuttering, scaffolding & de‑shuttering work as per approved drawing, obtain approval from third‑party consultant, and coordinate construction work with subcontractors.
  • Prepare micro plans/schedules to achieve targets.
  • Plan & allocate general and daily responsibilities to subcontractor & subordinates.
  • Monitor, supervise & ensure effective and economical use of machinery, equipment, manpower and resources.
  • Provide material/resource requirements in advance to ensure smooth progress.
  • Ensure all formwork and shuttering works are completed within schedule and as per quality standards.
  • Ensure proper stripping, cleaning, and storage of formwork materials after use.
  • Coordinate with steel fixing, concreting, and other related teams to avoid delays.
  • Guarantee that all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor wastages and ensure it remains within tolerance.
  • Resolve problems when they arise or report to engineer in charge.
  • Report daily progress to engineer in charge.
  • Technical knowledge of modern formwork systems.
  • Manpower and material management.
  • Quality and safety awareness.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 12th pass or Grade 12.
Experience
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years UAE experience in buildings (Midrise & Highrise).
  • Minimum should have executed and completed 2 to 3 residential building projects (Midrise & Highrise) from start to handover.
  • Attested certificates if had undergone any specialized formwork system training.
  • Report to site engineer or construction manager and coordinate with surveyors & site team (civil, MEP, suppliers & S/C).
