We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting with the financial record-keeping and reporting processes of our organization. The Junior Accountant will assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with our company s financial policies. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Enter and update accounting data in accounting systems in a timely manner.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are recorded.
• Provide assistance in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
• Support internal audits by gathering necessary documentation and information.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and corporate records.
• Assist with processing payroll and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Help with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare documentation for external audits by organizing and presenting relevant files.
• Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes as needed.
• Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and regulations.
• Liaise with other departments to address and resolve outstanding accounting issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying discrepancies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
