Position Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Commerce or an MBA in Finance
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of Peachtree or other ERP/accounting systems
High proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Excellent understanding of cost control, VAT compliance, and inventory accounting
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work both independently and in a team environment

Your Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and assist with audits
General Ledger Management: Maintain ledgers, record journal entries, and perform reconciliations
Sales & Revenue Monitoring: Prepare sales reports and support with forecasting
Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile daily/monthly bank transactions and intercompany records
VAT Filing & Compliance: Ensure timely VAT submissions and support tax audits
Inventory & Costing: Assist with stock valuation and pricing analysis
Payroll Support: Help in salary computation, leave encashments, and final settlements
System Support: Provide user support for Peachtree and generate ad-hoc reports
