- Set up new and maintain existing claims within the claims database.

General Reinsurance, Cape Town Branch (a subsidiary of General Reinsurance AG) is offering an opportunity for a Reinsurance Administrator in our Life Australia, UK, SA, Canada segment. The Reinsurance Administrator provides a wide array of administrative support to the Claims, Finance and Data & Analytics teams within the segment with specific focus on the Australian business.
- Monitor and maintain the Administration mailbox and action items accordingly.
- Setting up new and maintaining existing claims within the claims database.
- Reviewing and processing of incoming claim payment requests including verification of amounts, notification and payment.
- Reviewing and processing of policy and premium data.
- Liaising with clients on bordereaux queries and general questions.
- Support quality assurance with regards to process and data accuracy.
- Support the implementation of a new reinsurance administration platform.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks to support each of the functions.
