A growing international media business group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to provide part-time remote support for approximately 16-20 hours per week. This role is ideal for a candidate who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working independently, and values consistency and excellence in bookkeeping.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director, who will provide system and process training. While the position is remote, candidates must be permanently based in Cape Town to attend in-person training sessions in the city centre.
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple international entities.
- Process transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure data integrity.
- Support month-end and year-end financial procedures.
- Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Assist in refining bookkeeping workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting international businesses.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Strong data entry and organisational skills.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly (training provided).
- Professional communication skills and adaptability.
- Based permanently in Cape Town for initial in-person training.
- Ledger One / AccountEdge software knowledge would be beneficial.
Working Hours: Approximately 16-20 hours per week, flexible.
Location: Remote, with in-person training in Cape Town.
