Job summary
A residential architecture firm in Gauteng is seeking a detail-oriented Residential Architectural Drafter to create precise construction documents and collaborate closely with architects and designers on residential projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in architecture, a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential drafting, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. This full-time role offers a supportive environment where your work directly shapes high-quality residential designs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of architectural project experience under a Registered Architect.
- 3 years of residential drafting experience with strong knowledge of single-family design.
- Knowledge of IBC Type V construction and building methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complete sets of residential architectural working drawings.
- Revise and update existing plans, ensuring version control.
- Prepare complete permit submittal packages for review.
