Job Title: Accountant

Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and independent professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for maintaining precise financial operations.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage all aspects of AP and AR, including processing vendor invoices, generating customer invoices, and overseeing collections.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, such as the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement.
• Payroll Support: Assist with the processing of payroll, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
• Data Management: Maintain the integrity of financial data within our accounting software and other systems.

• Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Independence: The ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Setup: A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A CPA or other relevant accounting certification.
• Experience working remotely for a US-based or international company.
