Overview

We\'re hiring: Workshop Technicians (x2) | Johannesburg | R50K–R60K Basic + FH Benefits. Our client, a leading food supplier in South Africa, is looking for two experienced and trade-tested Workshop Technicians to join their team in Gauteng. If you\'re a qualified Millwright with an electrical background and strong FMCG experience, this opportunity could be a great fit!

Minimum Requirements
  • Trade Tested Millwright (with strong electrical / instrumentation background)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • FMCG experience is essential
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Gauteng (and occasionally KZN)
  • Available for on-call duty every second week, including weekends (7:30–17:30)
  • Computer literate with strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple job cards
  • Afrikaans proficiency is advantageous due to client base
Responsibilities
  • Fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on complex food processing equipment
  • Reading schematics and interpreting technical documentation
  • Routine servicing, installations, and commissioning
  • Completing job cards and technical reports
  • Supporting customers with breakdowns and technical advice
  • Maintaining safety standards on-site and in-house
  • Being part of the standby rotation
Salary & Benefits
  • R50,000 – R60,000 basic salary
