Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Hands‑on Workday Consultant to lead and manage Workday support teams within our consulting organization.

This role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of Workday, exceptional problem‑solving abilities, and proven leadership in managing complex client environments.

You will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands‑on expert, ensuring high‑quality delivery and continuous optimization of Workday solutions for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Workday consultants and analysts supporting multiple clients.
  • Ensure team adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary Workday point of contact for key clients.
  • Participate in client governance calls, strategy sessions, and roadmapping.
  • Translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
  • Hands‑On Configuration & Support: Provide hands‑on support and configuration across key Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Core HR, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, or Payroll).
  • Lead complex issue resolution, system enhancements, and minor projects.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee ongoing Workday enhancements, new module deployments, and integrations.
  • Coordinate with technical / development teams on integrations and reports (e.g., Studio, EIB, BIRT).
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer within the team and to clients.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in Workday deployment, data migration, testing, and change management.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Qualifications
  • While HCM experience in Workday is preferred, HCM experience in other platforms like Oracle and SAP will also be considered.
  • 6+ years of HCM functional experience across multiple modules.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role (team lead, manager, or supervisor) in a consulting or client services environment.
  • Proven experience in HCM support and post‑production environments.
  • Hands‑on expertise in HCM configurations, business processes, reports, and security.
  • Strong understanding of client‑facing communication, stakeholder management, and project governance.
  • Workday certification in one or more modules is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) is a plus.
