Overview

Salary: R21-R23 000 (NO BENEFITS)

Syspro / SAGE / Evolution experience required

Responsibilities

• Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Great interpersonal skills
• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
• Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications with exceptional excel ability
• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Prepare deliveries based on delivery schedule one day ahead
• Negotiate and arrange transport when needed
• Daily stock planning sheet prepares and distribute accordingly
• Verify and check stock for drivers’ stock is loaded and ready
• Check what stock is still outstanding for the days load and inform the production team
• Check stock for upcoming orders for the next 2 days
• Do spot checks in the warehouse to ensure smooth operation
• Check cleaning schedules to ensure BRC standards
• Checking out all loads being dispatched
• Communicating with production team hourly for stock is still outstanding
• Receiving in all IBT’s
• Invoicing stock out to ACS and PEACOCK
• Ensuring all loads are dispatched in full
• Updating the planning schedule again before 16:00 adding new orders and removing orders that were dispatched
