Job description
Visa Application Officer (m/f/d - 2 years experience maximum - 3 months contract)

This position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is a 3‑month temporary contract (no freelance or expatriation). Applicants must have at most 2 years of similar experience, especially in customer service, and be fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in French is a plus.

CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions, responsible for financing and managing visa application centers to process their Schengen visa applications. We currently operate in 10 countries and welcome more than 250,000 visa applicants each year. As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Operations department and are seeking a Visa Application Officer who is dedicated and customer‑focused to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming all visa applicants in the operated visa application center
  • Process the visa application of the applicants (front office)
  • Collect payments from the applicants (payment counter)
  • Manage the biometric collection of visa applicants (biometry)
  • Manage all back‑office tasks to finalize the visa application of our applicants
  • Manage all other tasks given by the management
