Role: Permanent with full time hours – 40 hours per week, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm (12 months fixed term).
MediPAC is our facility in Runcorn that has been operating since June 2019 and provides “Hub and Spoke” solution for assembling repeat prescriptions in pharmacy. We are one of the UK’s largest automated pharmacies, using industry‑leading technology; our site currently assembles in excess of 1 million repeat prescriptions a month. Our facility assembles over 16 million prescriptions annually for all Rowlands branches in England, Scotland and Wales.
We currently have an exciting opportunity within the MediPAC facility as Centralised Pharmacy Operative, based in Runcorn, Cheshire. You will participate in the automated facility to ensure the correct products are efficiently processed for distribution to the branch network for dispensing.
We are looking for either an experienced NVQ2 or somebody willing to join Pharmacy Services to work towards a Central Pharmacy operative qualification. Ideally you will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent course; if not you should be willing to undertake training to achieve the qualification. We are looking for someone who embraces change and is able to support the existing team to participate in new and future business initiatives. You will have a positive “can do” attitude.
