A non-profit organization is looking for a Toy Librarian to support operational duties within the toy library. Responsibilities include planning educational play sessions, maintaining resources, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. Applicants should have at least Matric and ECD level 4, along with strong organizational skills and a valid driver's license. The Toy Librarian provides support to operational duties in the toy library for effective and quality implementation of all toy library programmes and to promote early learning opportunities for all children.
1.1 Administration
1.2 Planning and organising
1.3 Maintenance and stock control
1.4 Meetings, Work Sessions and Training
1.5 Monitoring, evaluate, report and implement
2.1 Assist with building relationships with community children, primary caregivers and ECD centres
2.2 Assist with the promotion of toy library services and programmes to community members, primary caregivers, donors
3.1 Use safe methods and techniques for shifting and lifting heavy equipment
3.2 To take care of all resources, consumable items and equipment to prevent waste, damage or loss
3.3 Assist with effective tracking systems of all the equipment and resources to identify damages or loss
3.4 Assist with recovery systems to prevent permanent loss or damage of equipment and resources
