Overview
SHORT TERM CONTRACT WITH ABILITY TO EXTEND IN 2026
You\'ll play a key role in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, defining user stories, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives. This role demands experience working in Agile environments, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and telecoms-related initiatives.
Requirements & Analysis
- Gather, document, and manage business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Conduct workshops, whiteboard and design thinking sessions
- Facilitate early-stage ideation and stakeholder sessions
- Analyse existing (AS-IS) processes and define TO-BE solutions
- Identify, assess, and propose business process improvements
- Document detailed business, functional, and reporting requirements
Delivery Support & Testing
- Collaborate with developers, testers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Assist with backlog grooming and prioritisation
- Write UAT test cases and facilitate UAT sessions
- Ensure traceability of requirements through all project phases
- Monitor quality, resolve defects, and support technical teams
- Support training content development and change readiness
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Engage and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
- Align solutions with business needs and customer expectations
- Ensure clarity and consistency in communication across all levels
- Act as a liaison between business and IT delivery teams
Qualifications
- 3-year degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (mandatory)
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CCBA, aligned to BABOK)
- Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) (required)
- Facilitation certification (required)
- Design Thinking certification (required)
- Six Sigma (advantageous)
- CBAP or working towards (advantageous)
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years\' Business Analysis experience on large-scale, complex projects
- 2+ years\' experience in Agile environments
- 2+ years\' Facilitation experience (workshops, whiteboarding, JAD)
- 3+ years\' experience with Design Thinking, prototyping, user journeys
- Experience in a telecoms/technology environment strongly preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Skilled in process modelling, requirements documentation, and solution assessment
- BSS (Billing Systems) background advantageous
Tools & Frameworks Advantageous
- Process modelling tools (e.g., ARIS, Visio, Casewise, Abacus)
- ISO9001, Six Sigma, CMMi, COBIT
- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, NGOSS)
- Process/Operations Frameworks (e.g., eTOM, SCOR, CMAT)
Deliverables May Include
- Business cases and benefit realisation documentation
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Detailed user stories, customer journeys, prototypes
- Functional specs, IRS (Information Requirement Specs), training requirements
- UAT scenarios and test scripts
- As-Is and To-Be process documentation
- Workshop artefacts and stakeholder engagement plans
