Job Description:
A leading quarry operation in Durbanville Hills is seeking a Technical Draughtsman with AutoCAD experience and knowledge of the building industry. The role involves managing design communication, preparing layouts, and ensuring accurate production drawings for concrete slabs, beams, and staircases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage communication around designs and technical project details.
• Prepare measurement and preliminary layouts as needed.
• Develop and compile construction drawings for production.
• Design layouts for beams and staircases to meet project specifications.
• Create bending schedules and assist with additional design requirements.
• Order steel for stairs, beams, and other custom fabrication needs.
• Ensure all final layouts are accurate, efficient, and cost-effective for casting.
• Obtain written approval from clients and engineers for all designs.
• Ensure that engineers receive approved designs on time.
• Revise quotationsbefore final orders and confirm acceptance before production.
• Monitor installation schedules and prioritize projects accordingly.
• Notify clients of any design modifications and the reasons behind them.
• Capture and verify slab layouts using FloorCAD software.
• Correspond with all relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary project information.
