Talent & Culture Coordinator – Montague Gardens, Cape Town | Full-time | Flexible working hours

Start Date: As soon as possible

About Us

At Supernova Brands, we bring "out-of-this-world" products to Africa's leading retailers and e-commerce platforms; from South Africa to Botswana, Zambia, Mauritius, and beyond.

Our brands are dynamic, design-forward, and full of personality; just like the people who bring them to life.

Our workplace is collaborative, energetic, and ever-evolving.

We celebrate creativity, champion initiative, and believe that great ideas can come from anyone.

We work hard, but we play hard too.

You can expect the occasional Nerf gun war or lunch‑time pop‑quiz challenge.

You will likely learn to surf or SUP at our monthly team‑building events.

About the Role

We’re looking for a bright, curious, and highly organised Talent & Culture Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role that combines recruitment, people operations, and culture — perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, and bringing energy to the workplace.

What You’ll Do
  • Recruitment & Onboarding (25%) – coordinate job postings, shortlist candidates, manage interview scheduling, communicate with applicants, support offer and contract preparation, and help new team members feel welcome and settled from day one.
  • Culture & Engagement (25%) – plan and execute internal team‑building activities, events, and celebrations; champion initiatives that promote connection, well‑being, and team spirit; bring creative ideas to keep our culture authentic, energetic, and inclusive.
  • Travel Coordination (20%) – assist with travel planning for senior leadership and visiting international partners, act as a point of contact for travel‑related arrangements and hospitality.
  • HR Support (15%) – assist with reviewing incentive programs, KPIs, and team structures; help implement and maintain internal HR processes and documentation.
  • Office & Operations (15%) – support workspace improvement projects, from décor updates to office setups; ensure the office reflects our brand values and provides a great experience for everyone.
About You

You’re someone who brings structure, energy, and empathy to everything you do.

You enjoy working with people, solving problems, and taking initiative to make things better.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are organised, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy connecting with people.

You’re naturally proactive — you see what needs to be done and make it happen.

You bring creativity and positivity to the workplace.

Requirements
  • A relevant qualification (Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field).
  • 0–2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or office coordination (internships welcome).
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Bonus: Experience with event planning, travel coordination, or startup environments.
What We Offer
  • A vibrant, high‑energy culture where collaboration and creativity thrive.
  • Hands‑on experience building global brands across Africa.
  • Real opportunities for growth as our team continues to scale.
  • Competitive salary package based on experience.
  • Monthly team events — from surf sessions to lunchtime challenges.
  • Location: Supernova Brands HQ, Montague Gardens, Cape Town.
